𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝗻𝘆 from New York was thé one band in the ’90s that captured the zeitgeist of young people and young adults perfectly with their hardcore-metal crossover. Formed in Brooklyn in 1989 (heavily influenced by NYHC bands like Cro-Mags, Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front, and Murphy’s Law), the quartet immediately made an international impact with their melancholic debut album River Runs Red, released in late 1993. To be followed up by the more melodic Ugly, which will be the album you’ll hear during Life of Agony’s show at Helldorado 2025.

“Everyone was expecting River Runs Red, Part 2, but Ugly was a left, right, and U-turn! People were like, ‘Okay, this is different?!’. It took some time to sink its hooks into our listeners, but when it did, it became a classic. I’m super excited to celebrate the ‘Ugly Duckling’ of the L.O.A. catalog!” – Joey Zampella (Life Of Agony)

There you have it. Don’t miss this integral live performance of the legendary Ugly album, ’cause it’s gonna be one for the books. See ya in Klokgebouw, Eindhoven. Saturday November 15th.
