For nearly four decades, Prong have occupied a unique position at the crossroads of metal, hardcore, thrash and industrial music.

Formed in New York City in 1986 by vocalist/guitarist Tommy Victor and bassist Mike Kirkland, the band emerged from the legendary CBGB scene and quickly developed a sound all their own. With landmark albums such as Beg To Differ, Prove You Wrong, Cleansing and Rude Awakening, Prong helped lay the foundations for what would later become known as groove metal.

Combining razor-sharp riffs, industrial textures and relentless precision, the band carved out an influential style that remains instantly recognizable today. Their signature anthem Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck has long since earned classic status, but Prong have never been content to live on past achievements.

Their latest album, State Of Emergency (2023), proves that Tommy Victor and company remain every bit as focused, powerful and uncompromising as ever. Expect crushing riffs, undeniable grooves and a set packed with songs from one of heavy music's most distinctive catalogues.
